AnswerSam is a product of Artificial Frontiers LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and our AI receptionist service, and how we use it.
What we collect
- From business customers: name, business name, phone number, email, business details (services, hours, service area), and billing information (processed by our payment provider).
- From callers to our customers' businesses: call audio, recordings, transcripts, and details the caller provides (such as name, address, phone number and the reason for the call).
- From the website: information you submit in forms and basic usage data.
How we use it
- To answer and handle calls on behalf of our business customers, book appointments, and send call summaries.
- To provide, support, and improve the service, including quality review of calls.
- To communicate with you about your trial or account, including by text message if you've agreed to it.
Text messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send messages about your trial, account and service. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
Sharing
We share information only with the business the caller contacted, with service providers that help us run the service (such as telephony, speech, AI, hosting and payment providers) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Calendar access
If a business connects its Google Calendar, we read only the start and end times of events on the calendars it selects, to avoid offering times that are already taken, and we add the appointments our receptionist books. We don't read event titles or details, don't use calendar data for anything else, don't sell it, and don't use it to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The business can disconnect at any time from its Google account or by emailing us.
Call recording
Calls handled by AnswerSam may be recorded and transcribed. Where required by law, callers are told at the start of the call.
Retention and security
We keep data as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
